either expressed or implied in the description or name given to any
lot, whether written or verbal. Charnock Auction House Limited
encourages buyers to inspect the lots prior to sale. If the
buyers are in any doubt whatsoever, they are advised not to bid.
Each lot is sold on the behalf of the Seller with all faults,
imperfections and defects at the fall of the hammer.
All goods must be paid for on the day of the sale, unless
by prior arrangement. Goods purchased may only be collected
once payment has been received; in the case of payment by cheque without valid cheque guarantee card, 5 days must be allowed
for clearance. In any case lots purchased must be removed
within 2 days of payment being actually received by Charnock
Auctions House Limited or storage charges may be incurred.
In the interest of the customer safety, goods can only be removed
whilst the sale is in progress at the discretion of the porters.

Please register at the office for a bidder’s number prior to the
commencement of the sale. The auctioneer is unable to accept
bids from unregistered persons. The auctioneer may bid on the
behalf of absent bidders who have left written instruction to do so
prior to the commencement of the sale.
The reference A/F given to any lot indicates that the item(s) is “At
Fault”.
Buyers’ Premium is 12.5% of the Hammer Price plus
VAT on commission.
